More than a devotional I’ve read tons of devotionals over the years, this by far is my favorite! Jennie is so authentic and gut level honest about her life, experiences, thoughts and feelings especially in this book! What I love the most is at the end of every day there are questions to dig deeper very similar to a mini Bible Study and suggested scripture reading. I walked away from each daily reading feeling like I had not only learned but also had experienced Jesus. I cannot recommend this book or Jennie enough! Her teaching has changed me so much and I believe this book will change many others lives as well!Looking for a devotional? Stop here! Each section is broke up into days. A day consists of 3 sections, a section of reading, a second section of responding to questions as you relate to the text, and third a section that ties everything to the Bible. This can easily be done in one day or you could split it into 2 days if, like me, you have little ones running around. This book is based on two of her prior books but not in the way where if you have read those, dont read this. I think the opposite. If you read the others, you know you'll love this! If you are a female looking for a devotion or a man looking for one for the special lady in your life-stop here! You found it. :-)Interactive, step by step journey through living out God's true purpose for your life! I have been a long time follower / fan of the writings of Jennie Allen. I love how she takes solid Biblical truth and brings it to such an applicable level! This book is no exception! It is such a fantastic compilation of some of her best work through "Anything" and "Restless". The book is broken down into 4 sections (The Prayer, The Call, The Threads and The Future) which allow you to stay focused on the process. Within each section are short, daily reads to allow for a 40 day journey through each step. Each step will walk you through how to seek God's purpose and calling for your life. Your comfort zone has no place here! There is sooo much more to God's best for you. Press in, dig deep and seek God's calling for your life!! It's a journey you will never regret!!
